"I was very inspired by the imaginary world created by my three year old son Joshua at play with his young friends. In their world, dragons make great friends and elves travel the world in giant hot air balloons. I created 'The Synergy Song', my children's fine art picture book and poetry, to illustrate this magical world, and to introduce young people to basic scientific principles. I also brought 'The Synergy Song' musical show to grade school children throughout the Monterey Bay of California, near my home and Gallery in Watsonville. I was thrilled with the response of the children, and with answering their questions about synergy, Tiny Tim elf, and Doris the Dragon.

Josh and his Friends have grown to be young adults. My son Joshua (first introduced on page one of The Synergy Song) is twenty-one and has reached six foot five inches tall. He is in college studying graphic design, works with me in my art restoration studio, and is painting my Gallery and historic home. Lindsey (also pictured on page one) is also twenty-one and is going to school at a small college on Staten Island. Troy (pictured on page five and page seven) lives in Las Vegas and is doing very well. James (pictured on page nine) lives very near Joshua in Watsonville, and they remain close friends to this day!"
