"A second style I have developed to achieve my goal of detail in landscape art and seascapes is to use acrylics to apply the classic watercolor painting technique on canvas. These 'Watercolors' naturally tend toward more atmospheric subjects such as skyscapes and water scenes and often use more emotional color. The result is a series that combines realism with an impressionist art style. Many of the paintings in this collection were created 'en plein aire', on-site in the open air."
